Certification:
In 1985 Dr. Slomka became board-certified in Internal Medicine and served as the Staff Physician in the Department of Hematology at the Medical Academy in Katowice, Poland. He later served, from 1986-1989, as the Staff Physician in the Department of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease at County Hospital in Bystra, Poland and was the Junior Attending at Department of Internal Medicine at Rutkowski during the same time.
Biography:
Born in Radom, Poland, Dr. Slomka moved to Kansas in 1995 after he completed his residency in New York City. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine - arguably the hardest board certification to achieve in medicine.) Dr. Slomka is a former soccer player in the professional division and is still an avid fan of the Polish National team. He speaks fluent Polish, English, Russian, German and Esperanto.
